We’ve come up with some pretty “out there” pizza toppings to help inspire you to break out of the box when it comes to creating your own. Feel free to adapt according to your own preferences, and let us know what creations you come up with!


For Dough

  • 360g wholemeal or buckwheat flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 140ml water

For Sauce

  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp almond butter
  • 8 sun dried tomatoes that have been soaked in boiling water for 5 minutes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • pinch black pepper
  • 1.5 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup or liquid sweetener of choice

Toppings Pizza 1

  • mashed potato with oil and salt
  • a few chopped leaves of radicchio or red cabbage
  • finely chopped ginger
  • sprinkling of finely chopped vegan cheese
  • handful of crushed walnuts

Toppings Pizza 2:

a few chopped oyster mushrooms
2 tbsp tamari
deribbed kale leaf chopped
sprinkling of vegan cheese
a few flaked almonds

Toppings Pizza 3

  • 1 fresh fig chopped into thin slices
  • 6 asparagus with stalks chopped off
  • drizzle of balsamic vinegar
  • sprinkle of vegan cheese
  • a few crumbled cashews



1. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees celcius
2. Add ingredients for dough together and mix to evenly distribute the oil
3.  Pour in the water and knead with your hands making sure it’s not sticking to the sides of the bowl
4. Mix until it combines to one ball of dough
5. Line your baking trays with baking paper and divide dough into 3 pizza bases rolling them as thin as possible
6. Bake in oven for 8 minutes
7. Blend tomato sauce ingredients together in a food processor until smooth
8. Take your cooked, slightly crisp pizza bases out of the oven and layer the tomato sauce on generously, making sure it spreads to the edges.
9. Add your various toppings to each pizza
10. Put pizzas back into oven for 6-8 minutes until cooked and crispy
11. Serve and enjoy!
