Here’s a quick and easy alternative to bread; ludicrously easy to make and super-healthy!


Sweet potato
Olive Oil
Topping suggestions: beetroot hummus, chopped cucumber, avocado, sun-dried tomato pesto (but anything works, really!)


  • Grab your sweet potato and cut into strips lengthways, about 1cm thick.
  • Drizzle a little bit of oil onto the sweet potato and rub onto both sides
  • Sprinkle a pinch of salt over
  • Pop your sweet potato strip into the toaster. We allowed each strip to cook for about 3 *pops* (around 12 mins in total), but this may vary according to different toasters/ preferences
