This vegan red cheddar is from Julie Piatt’s (@srimati) new book – “This Cheese is Nuts” Super delicious served with crackers, on its own or in a sandwich!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups of almonds
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 2 roasted red peppers
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt + 2 pinches of smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup of water

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Soak the almonds overnight, or boil them for 10 minutes
  • Blend together your ingredients 
  • Serve with some basil and some crackers!
