We are SERIOUS snackers, so having a few healthy snack ideas up our sleeve is paramount when out and about. Here are some of our favourites…

INGREDIENTS

Date Caramel:

  • 200g pitted dates
  • 100g almond butter
  • 2.5 tbsp coconut oil (or cacao butter)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 5 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Sweet & Savoury Fruit Slices:

  • 1 apple/ banana
  • Nut butter of choice
  • Coconut yoghurt

Power Bites:

  • 300g nuts
  • 100g pitted dates
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 handful goji berries
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • (can add cacao powder to make like chocolate energy bites)

Fig Burgers:

  • Dried Figs
  • Chopped nuts of your choice

INSTRUCTIONS

Date Caramel:

  • Blend all the ingredients together
  • Goes great on bananas/ sliced apple/ mango (any fruit really!)
  • Add a bit of cacao powder to give it more of a chocolatey taste

Sweet & Savoury Fruit Slices:

  • Slice your apple/ banana
  • Spread on the nut butter
  • Add a dollop of your dairy-free yoghurt

Power Bites:

  • Add all the ingredients into a food processor and blitz.
  • Roll into whatever size balls you like.
  • Can roll into desiccated coconut, cacao powder, bee pollen – whatever you fancy!

Fig Burgers:

  • Get your dried fig, take the top off, rip open and stuff with the nuts
