These make a wonderful edible gift and great last minute present which everyone likes! Literally takes 10 mins and they can look very professional! If you have a nice box and a ribbon, it can really make them look like a fancy homemade gift!

Takes 20 minutes

Serves 15

Ingredients
 

  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 100 g cream plant based or coconut cream
  • 1 orange zest
  • 20 g cocoa powder

Instructions
 

  • Break up the chocolate into small pieces and put in a bowl.Put the cream in a saucepan and zest in zest of the orange trying to minimise the amount of white pectin (this can be quite bitter). Heat on medium heat until gently boiling.
  • Remove from the heat and pour over the chocolate. Leave to sit for 2 mins and stir until its all well combined and super chocolatey.Put in the fridge to set, this will take approx 20 mins.
  •  Remove once set and roll into small balls being careful not to handle too much as they will melt if you handle them too much. Coat in the cacao powder and enjoy!
  • You could also coat in freeze dried raspberry powder or chopped pistachio for a lovely more festive looking version
