About Us

The Happy Pear exists to inspire people to eat well, feel good, and live better. It started out back in 2004 with Steve, Dave, a tiny shop and a dream of helping people to eat more veg! The Happy Pear now consists of over 80 food products, a membership App alongside a suite of online courses, our famous wholefood café & shop in Greystones, a range of bestselling cookbooks, an organic regenerative farm, a roastery and a community of over 2 million people living healthier! The mission is still the same, to create a healthier, happier world and build community!

The Role

Working Location: Pearville, The Happy Pear, Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow
Part-Time, reporting to the Head of Digital Product, Growth & Marketing
Hours – 16 hours per week

Do you love the Happy Pear mission? Are you passionate about healthy vibrant living, community, and helping people find their way to a healthier more fulfilling life? We are looking for an energetic and organised person to be the “voice” of our digital home.

This isn’t just about answering emails – it’s about being the primary point of connection for our members and ensuring our digital world is as warm and welcoming as our Greystones café.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Heart of the Community: You’ll be at the centre of our app and social media responding, replying to our 2 million+ followers and our dedicated app members. You’ll spark conversations within our app feed, welcome new faces, and make everyone feel like they have a seat at our table.
  • The Voice of the Pear: You’ll help us stay in touch with our community through our newsletters (sent to 30,000+ subscribers!) and app feed posts . You’ll also be the friendly person helping out with any questions that land in our support inbox.
  • Keeping Our Digital Platform Vibrant: You’ll help us keep our app and platform looking stunning. From uploading new recipes and course videos to making sure every link and image is working perfect, you’ll ensure our members have a world-class experience.
  • App Community engagement: You’ll be posting and engaging with our app members around our weekly themes, challenges and also setting up the push notifications and mechanisms to keep our app engaging and our members supported and held accountable. 

Who You Are:

  • A People Person: You have a naturally friendly, and engaging way of communicating.
  • Passionate About Doing Good: You know the benefit of living healthy and want to help others do the same.
  • Organised but Adaptable: You can handle a variety of tasks, from writing a newsletter to fixing a recipe image, without missing a beat.
  • Tech-Comfortable: You don’t need to be a developer, but you’re happy learning new systems and have a great eye for detail.
