People Operations Coordinator (Fixed-Term, Part-Time)

The Happy Pear now consists of over 80 food products, a membership App alongside a suite of online courses, our famous wholefood cafe & shop in Greystones, a range of bestselling cookbooks, an organic regenerative farm, a roastery and a community of over 1.6 million people living healthier! The mission is still the same, to create a healthier, happier world and build community!

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. This role will involve handling HR documentation, coordinating training and development programs, and serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries, contributing to a well-supported and motivated workforce.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    • Assist in advertising roles, reviewing applications, and coordinating
  • Interviews:
    • Issue contracts and support onboarding for new hires.
  • HR Administration & Compliance:
    • Maintain employee records, ensuring GDPR compliance.
    • Update policies and procedures in line with legal and internal
      standards.
  • Employee Support & Engagement:
    • Support managers with HR queries and employee relations.
    • Assist in implementing recognition and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Training & Development Support:
    • Maintain training records for compliance and employee growth.
    • Help coordinate learning initiatives as required.
  • Payroll & HR Systems:
    • Support the processing of payroll on a weekly/monthly basis.
    • Assist with HR systems management (e.g., attendance tracking).

Essential:

✔ Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR or people operations.
✔ Strong administrative and organisational skills.
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✔ Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
✔ Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

✔ CIPD qualification or HR-related studies.
