We are super excited to launch our deliciously chocolatey hazelnut spread, Nuts about Choc, this week in Supervalu stores, independent foodie stores, and in our very own café and food stores. Made with real ingredients, palm oil-free, and with no refined sugar, as well as being vegan and vegetarian friendly, this tasty treat is perfect with just about anything, from pancakes and toast, to fruit, in porridge or granola, or simply straight off the spoon!
We have spent many months working on this shareable chocolatey creation, to make sure that it is the tastiest, healthiest, most luxurious chocolatey hazelnut spread ever, and we are pretty chuffed with the results! We hope you will be too!
Over the years, Dave and Steve have concocted countless recipes for this popular spread – you may even have spotted a recipe for a chocolate spread in our second award-winning cookbook, The World of The Happy Pear (that recipe is a dreamy delight you can make yourself at home). They’ve all been DELISH yet we’re fairly convinced that you’ll agree when we say that nothing compares to our NEW Nuts about Choc’s next-level nommyness!

There are just so many ways to enjoy this choconutty treat, but in case you are in need of a little inspiration, here are some of our very own lovely Happy Pear team with their favourite ways to enjoy theirs.
I have eaten a lot of Nuts about Choc over the past few months, while we worked on perfecting the recipe. I love to put it on pancakes; you just can’t beat that creamy, chocolatey taste! Sean (our product development technologist and the Nuts about Choc project leader)
Why not give your regular hot chocolate a makeover and use the spread to make a version that I liked to call, ‘Nuts about Hot Chocolate’! It’s summertime, so what better way to cool down than a Nuts about Choc ice-cream sandwich! Break a Happy Pear chocolate chip cookie in half, spread each side with Nuts about Choc and fill with some dairy-free ice cream. The perfect treat for a hot summer’s day.
