Loaded Olive Oil Dip with Herbs, Pesto, Tapenade & Capers
This vibrant olive oil dip is one of those simple recipes that delivers big on flavour with very little effort! Perfect for serving with warm sourdough, crunchy vegetables, or as part of a mezze spread, it's an easy way to elevate any table.
Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until lightly golden and fragrant. Allow to cool.
Add the olive oil, parsley, tomatoes, pesto, tapenade, capers, sesame seeds, chilli flakes, garlic (if using), lemon zest and lemon juice to a shallow serving bowl.
Stir gently to combine. Taste and season with flaky sea salt and plenty of black pepper. You may not need much salt as the tapenade and capers are already quite salty.
Leave to sit for 10–15 minutes before serving to allow the flavours to mingle.
Serve with warm sourdough, focaccia, grilled vegetables, or use as a dressing for roasted potatoes or beans.
